The Origin of Bigfoot
Stories about Bigfoot come from all around the world except Antarctica. In most traditional stories from ancient times in other countries, Bigfoot is described as a wild man who lived in the woods and was terrifying. In 1951, there was a man that found a footprint and took a photograph of it. After this picture emerged in the United States, more people started finding large footprints from an unknown creature. After the death of an associate of the person who found the prints, the associate's wife admitted he had faked the tracks. They were in on the plan together to get attention. This is believed to be the start of the Bigfoot legend in the United States. After the story hit the Associated Press, the nation went crazy over Bigfoot ("Bigfoot").
